To me, friends are some of the most important people in my life, but sometimes you have different feelings on how they act/ what they do. At my school, I have a "friend group", and there's 7 of us. Already you could probably tell it's very hard with an odd number, and you are right. We can never make a decision, and there's always one person who is left out. But, I also hate the idea of friend groups. I know we have them to group each other, but I feel it discludes many people who want to be friends with us. For the past few weeks, I've been trying to convince my friends to let someone sit in the empty seat, but the same few people doesn't want anyone to sit in that open seat.
Another problem with friend groups are the arguments between who can I invite and who I can't invite to the mall, or a sleepover, or whatever, but another person in the friend group is allowed to invite whomever they want to. It's so nerve racking!! I just want to scream at the thought that my friends won't let any of my other friends join my events. And if I were to invite others, my friends would get really mad at me. I just sometimes wish my friends were more open about letting other people join our "group". Or, better yet, not even have a group, and just have lots of friends instead.
